How we got here
It started with an apron. Often a garment associated with femininity and housekeeping, owner and founder Beth LaBar quickly realized how versatile an apron is. Chefs wear aprons, welders wear aprons, servers wear aprons, gardeners and landscapers wear aprons– an apron is a commonplace item in dozens of vocations. The fascination with such a practical piece of clothing inspired Beth to found Cover Me Carry Me: a sustainable business that handcrafts quality everyday items for functional use.
Cover Me Carry Me existed as a side hustle for years, but upon receiving further business training through a local cohort, Beth decided she wanted to go all in on her craft and she needed an updated brand an eCommerce shop to boot.
